T-Mobile CEO Calls the Massive Data Breach a ‘Humbling’ Experience

On August 17, T-Mobile systems were subjected to a criminal cyberattack that exposed the personal information of millions of customers, including former and prospective customers.

Luckily for T-Mobile, the massive data breach did not compromise any customer financial information like debit/credit cards or any payment information. However, information like name, address, date of birth, etc., were exposed.

T-Mobile has notified nearly all the customers whose personal data was compromised and said that it is “truly sorry” for the data breach.

The company CEO Mike Sievert said in a press release that the company was taking necessary steps to help secure affected customers and has also been coordinating with law enforcement.

He additionally said that the last two weeks have been humbling for all at T-Mobile, and they are working diligently to steer away cyberattacks from their systems.

Moreover, to enhance its approach towards cybersecurity in the future, T-Mobile is entering into long-term partnerships with the KPMG consulting firm and industry-leading cybersecurity experts at Mandiant.

Audio Chat App Clubhouse Adds Spatial Audio For More Immersive Chats

To offer a new level of depth to its chats, the popular audio chat platform Clubhouse is enabling its users to listen to conversations using spatial audio.

By introducing this new feature, Clubhouse will supposedly make it simple for users to keep track of who is talking at the moment.

Clubhouse’s spatial audio feature will work with all wired and wireless headphones.

By hearing spatial cues, app users will be able to hear people speaking from various positions relative to their heads, thereby helping them to identify the current speaker.

The company feels that this new feature will give users a better feeling of hanging out with a group of other people who are live on audio chat.

The spatial audio feature will be rolled out slowly as the default experience to all new iOS users starting August 29, while the Android app may get the feature in the coming months.

However, any user wanting to go back to the old setup can disable the spatial audio feature within the app’s settings.

Vietcetera will also use its new funding for content material, along with fresh exhibits and podcasts, franchise and content material licensing, and much more.
